BOOKS 53, established in 2000, is a branch of Nibondh & Company Limited, the oldest bookseller in Thailand.

Initially, BOOKS 53 was located in Sukhumvit Soi 53 (Soi Madi Padi). Its principal objective was to make available quality children’s books from the United Kingdom and the United States and to instill in children a love of reading with the motto “Books Are Friends For Life”.

However, as the price of land in this area has gone up considerable, we have closed our outlet on Soi 53 and are now concentrating more on participating in book fairs at international schools and other educational institutions in Bangkok and the provinces. Consequently, if any school would like us to display our large selection of titles, from extra-curricular reading to exam preparation, please do not hesitate to contact us.
